Heya, and welcome to Wikipedia!
As a side note, I just want to say that I've loved your site for years, and continue to find it a handy and entertaining reference. Almafeta 7 July 2005 03:36 (UTC)
- (Continuing from my talk page...)
- Generally, you want to keep a discussion on one talk page, for sanity's sake. To see your response, I would either have your page on Watch (I don't, at the moment) and be notified that way, or go into my recent contributions and . (I'll copy and paste this into both talk pages for you.)
- And if you ever have any questions, go ahead and ask me them. :) Almafeta 8 July 2005 07:29 (UTC)
[edit] Conlang WikiProject
Hello!
It has recently been brought to my attention that you might be interested in participating in the new WikiProject concerning constructed languages. The project has been created to observe, maintain, organize and improve all articles on Wikipedia relating to constructed languages. If you are interested, please add your name to the "Participants" section, and also feel free to add anything to the project page, the to-do list, or leave a comment on the talk page. Also, please check out the constructed languages portal.
Thank you!

As a general principle, I try to improve any articles I read, when I have something to contribute. So I do try to improve conlanging articles when I'm reading them. Thanks for thinking of me!

[edit] Sources
Regarding your addition to Drop kick. Thats an interesting fact, thanks for adding it. But regarding the source, it is best to put the source into the actual article instead of just in the edit history since people just reading the article will never see the reference. Qutezuce 20:21, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Can you show me an example? I can't recall seeing any articles like that. --Jeffrey Henning 23:53, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- The Drop kick article for an example, the text of the article goes "Since Doug Flutie estimated that he had "probably an 80 percent chance" of making a drop kick[1]" and in order to generate that text you would put "Since Doug Flutie estimated that he had "probably an 80 percent chance" of making a drop kick[http://www.theledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060102/NEWS/601020380/1002/SPORTS]" into the source text of the article. [edit] Chits
First off, good initiative starting the article on chits and good illustrations, but I'm a bit stymied - the illustration you moved from boardgame counter to chit says right on it in big letters "example of a counter". Why the move?Michael Dorosh 16:52, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Natalie Merchant
Apparently, there is an anonymous edit war going on with regard to this article. One of the parties has contacted the Wikimedia Foundation to complain about inclusion of personal information. Although I cannot provide any details about the email, you are welcome to ask verification of any of the OTRS members about ticket number 2006052210004783.
In accordance with your talk page, and your suggestion, I have returned the generic information about Merchant's spouse and child to the top of the article (where it is relavent—not the "Career" section); and would encourage you to maintain an eye on that article to see that the information remains generic. I have also removed the link to the article that mentions the husband's and child's name—the link that provides the generic information is sufficient. This link is still available on the talk page as well as the article's history for those persistent enough to find it. Bastique▼parler voir 14:34, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Folkspraak
Hello Jeffrey. I'm working on Folkspraak and its article. Since you are owner of the yahoo discussion group "folkspraak", I thought you might know of the beginning of it. Have you coined the word "Folkspraak"? When did it begin? Are there other sources on the web that could be linked to the Folkspraak article? What plans do you have with Folkspraak? There's a lot of activity on the yahoo group now. Regards, --Stephan Schneider 18:32, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
