[edit] Signing Pages

Although you should always sign your posts on talk pages, it isn't appropriate to do so on the actual article, as you did on the Combahee River Raid page. Cheers, JCO312 21:10, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Civil War articles

Hey Jeff, thanks for adding the article on the raid! I have never heard of this action. When you have time, take a long look at User:Hlj/CWediting. This is the guidelines Wikipedia uses for all Civil War articles, per the Civil War Task Force. Take some time, and edit your article in accordance with these style guidelines. Feel free to continue to contribute to Wikipedia! Thanks, and welcome aboard! Scott Mingus 01:23, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tubman

Thanks for your comments on the Harriet Tubman talk page; I've left some responses there. While it appears you've done some important work in this field, I should warn you that some of the information you've included in Raid at Combahee Ferry appears to be original research ("Source; Harriet Tubman and the Combahee River Raid unpublished manuscript Jeff Grigg 2007" – I assume you are the Grigg in question?), which is outside of Wikipedia's jurisdiction (thus the big template which has been added at the top of that page). If you have any questions, please let me know. – Scartol • Tok 17:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
