I live in Tucson, Arizona. I'm currently an undergraduate in the Computer Science program at the University of Arizona and doing research work there as well. My current programming interests include writing esoteric programming languages and cryptography.
I am the author of several esoteric programming languages and language compilers. Please see my user page on the Esolang wiki for a list.
My anonymous contributions to Wikipedia have been limited to spelling and grammar changes, and several questions posted to Talk pages. As most of the work I do involves original research, this is unlikely to change in the near future.

I frequently visit several channels on IRC; my nickname is calamari. This comes from the Lucasarts X-Wing computer game, based on Star Wars. I liked the Calamari Cruiser ship design, which is also shown in the space battle in Return of the Jedi (where the fleet is commanded by Admiral Ackbar, a Mon Calamari). However, this obscure history was unknown to most IRC'ers, and I soon found out that the word calamari means squid, or squid used as food. Since then, I have discovered calamari, and enjoyed several different preparations of it: boiled, sauteed, and of course, fried. I gained several new nicknames, including killerkalamari and Kid Squid, which I now use as my domain name.
