Jeff Paisley was born on September 27th 1970. He was adopted at birth and grew up for his first 12 years in San Bernardino California. His family moved to Livermore California where he lived for a few years and then moved to Modesto California.

Jeff enjoyed playing baseball for many years during his youth. He was a two time all-star in Little League (San Bernardino) and a 3 time all-star in the city league in Livermore California. Upon entering High School Jeff played for two years but after moving to Modesto he hurt the tendons in both of his knee's. He left baseball at that point.

Jeff discovered a love for music and began writing music in 1987. He continues to write and record music, although unpublished at the point of this article. In 1991 Jeff married Christine Williams. They have had two children... Meagan and William.

Jeff had long loved Jesus Christ although he says that he only knew "of" Jesus until the end of 1999. At that point, through a series of deep Bible studies, He came into a personal relationship with Jesus. Jeff's life changed from being a government debt collector to man that was determined to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who would listen.

In July of 2000 he went back to school, leaving California for a Tennessee University, and studied theology. During this time Jeff developed pneumonia and was sick for over a year and half but his health plagued him for over two and half years. For three long years Jeff studied and studied and studied through being sick and gained degrees in Theology, Practical Theology, and Biblical Languages. "It is only through the strength and power of God that I lived through it much less graduated at a University level program of theology."

Jeff began his ministry in Chadron Nebraska (2003) where he Pastored three churches. Although a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor, Jeff formed a non-denominational ministry called the "Awesome Light Ministries." He started a Radio program called "The Awesome Light" which was well received by the community. It contained many Biblical studies, sermons and Christian music (some of which was his own). Although the radio program has ended for now those many part studies are still available and are being revamped for future promotion of the truth of the Bible and the Bible alone. In 2005 Jeff was offered a position in Garden City Kansas to Pastor three churches. One in Garden City, one in Liberal, and one in the famous Dodge City. He has been Pastoring there for the last two years (as of this article 12/2006).

Jeff’s plans for the “Awesome Light Ministries” are still in the works. He is prepping up for a new Radio program promo and hopes to, at some point, release a CD of his music. At some point he also plans on getting a webpage for “The Awesome Light Ministries.”
