[edit] What could have been for Ruland

Like Bill Walton, the Portland center hobbled by bad feet, Ruland demonstrated real talent at the NBA level before falling to injuries. The year in Spain aside, Ruland could have played 12 stellar NBA seasons, during which he probably would have often scored 20+ points per game, added his 4-6 assists and ranked annually among the NBA shooting and rebounding leaders. Washington could have had a real contender with him and sank without him. The guy showed real toughness and that is commendable. He might well have missed more games to see if the condition could have been better dealt with. He was a star robbed by those injuries and the NBA missed his presence in those years.

[edit] Section Headers

I have added section headers and removed the Section tag. I encourage others to edit my section headers, because I think they can be improved. Baileypalblue (talk) 00:05, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
