Jeffrey Skinner is a published poet, and professor of Creative Writing at the University of Louisville.
His collections of poetry include Late Stars, A Guide to Forgetting, The Company of Heaven, Gender Studies, and Salt Water Amnesia. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ingram Merrill Foundation, and the Howard Foundation. Skinner co-founded Sarabande Books.[citation needed]
His prose poem, My Dates, was published in the April 2005 edition of The Yale Review.
