Jeffrey Nothing (born Jeff Hetrick, also known as Jeff Hatrix, May 5) is the vocalist for American Alternative Metal and Industrial Metal band Mushroomhead. The stage name "Jeffrey Nothing" may have been taken from a line in David Lynch's film Blue Velvet.

Jeff Hatrix was also the singer of a Cleveland-based metal band called Hatrix, as well as fronting Purgatory, in the 80s. Jeff had been living in New Orleans for a while during his stint with the band White Heat.

In June of 2007, he launched his own clothing line. The designs are currently in the works, and more are expected to be released soon.

In 2008, he announced he will release a solo album entitled The New Psychodalia.[2]
