Jeffrey Friedl

Jeffrey Friedl (born 1966, "Friedl" sounds like "free-dole") is a software engineer known for his book on regular expressions, Mastering Regular Expressions (O'Reilly 1997, 2002, 2006).

Jeffrey worked for Omron Tateishi Denki (1989-1997) and Yahoo! Finance (1997-2005), but now lives in Kyoto, Japan with his family. He frequently blogs about Japan and his interests in photography and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
