Jefferson Township is one of nine townships in Sullivan County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 495.

Jefferson Township covers an area of 42.94 square miles and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Hale, McDade, Pirtle, Posey, Smith and Woodward.
