Jeff Taylor

Jeff Taylor is a founder of the online jobs site Monster.com. He attended UMass Amherst and joined the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He worked as a DJ before working on the startup in the mid 90s. In August 2005, he left Monster to found a new venture called Eons, Inc., a website for people over age 50. It is an online community for baby boomers. In 2008, Taylor started Tributes.com, which is an online obituaries resource. Tributes.com is a spin off from Eons.com. Although Legacy.com is Tributes.com's competitor, Tributes.com has the valueable feature of a searchable central database that takes advantage of the fact that people would rather get their infomation off of the Internet versus traditional print.
