Jeff Kmiotek is an American television writer and producer.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kmiotek graduated UCLA with a Communications Degree in 2001. While at UCLA, he was at the center of controversy when x-rated pictures of underage juveniles were discovered on his laptop computer. He denied knowledge of the pictures' existence, but was suspended for two academic quarters nonetheless. At the age of 22, he was first producer on the CBS show Star Search.
Since then, he has produced and written for such shows as Fox's Paradise Hotel, Fox Reality's Solitary, GSN's Celebrity Blackjack and World Series of Blackjack, ESPN's Mohr Sports, and the USA Rock Paper Scissors League Championship for A&E, Fox Sports Net and ESPN.
Kmiotek is currently an executive producer on the World Series of Blackjack Season 4, which airs exclusively on GSN.
He is also the deputy commissioner and executive producer of the USA Rock Paper Scissors League, America's official and only sanctioned Rock Paper Scissors League.[citation needed] The league finds the country's top RPS player through a nationwide tournament that concludes with the $50,000 Las Vegas Finals, which aired on ESPN2 in July 2007.[citation needed]
