Jeff Hawker is an American novelist and screenwriter, as well as a noted transportation planner. His first novel, "Far to the Edge" was published by Phalanx Press in 2000. He wrote the screenplay for "Jack's Law" (2006), directed by Gil Medina and starring Danny Trejo. "Jack's Law," due in the fall of 2006, tells the story of Jack Santos (played by Trejo), whose life is torn apart by the murder of his wife and daughter. The undercover vice cop takes a turn to the dark side, but a planned sequel suggests he lives through it.
Hawker has served as chair of the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) and is currently the transportation adviser for West Valley City, Utah.
