Jeff Hastings

Jeff Hastings (born c. 1960) was a US ski jumper who competed in the Olympic Winter Games in Sarajevo in 1984.
Hastings finished 4th on the large hill behind Pavel Ploc, Czh, just 2/10ths of a point out of the medals. This is the best American finish in ski jumping since the 1920s. Jeff Hastings finished 4th overall on the world cup circuit in 1984, was US national champion 4 times, and won a world cup in Lake Placid on the large hill in 1983. Jeff's younger brother Chris Hastings competed in the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 and was a 2 time national champion.
Today Jeff is a senior executive for automechanical supply company Pro-Cut Inernational. Jeff is a graduate of Williams College and the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (1990).
