Jeff Darlington

Jeff Darlington (b. 10 November 1981 in Elizabeth, New Jersey)is an American sportswriter covering the Miami Dolphins for The Miami Herald.


Jeff Darlington has covered sports in Florida – including college football and the NFL – since 2000. Before covering the Dolphins, he wrote about the football and men's basketball programs at the University of Florida for the Orlando Sentinel. Darlington also is a graduate of UF.


Darlington attended Seminole High School (Pinellas County, Florida) in Seminole, Florida, where he grew up with Ryan Fowler (Tennessee Titans linebacker). He also attended high school with Casey Kotchman (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim first baseman) and D'Qwell Jackson (Cleveland Browns linebacker).
