[edit] Style
Jeff is known for his dim-lit, close-up, long shot filming as shown in Fight Club and many of the music videos and commercials he has worked on. As he says of Fight Club, "Whether we were inside or outside, we always wanted to keep a shallow depth of field to keep the audience focused on what we wanted them to see."[5]
[edit] Family
Jeff is the son of legendary cinematographer Jordan Cronenweth (Blade Runner), the brother of writer/director Tim Cronenweth and actress Christie Cronenweth.
