My name is Michael Weir and I am 22 years old from Bakersfield, CA, good ole US of A. I am a political science major and economics minor at Cal State Bakersfield. I work as a manager at a local, independently owned grocery store. I have an interest in American politics and government and economics and would like to make a career out of them. I am a perfectionist. I am a Jew by birth but an atheist by heart. It is confusing I know but please bear with me. I have many other interests such as literature, computer hacking and Internet security, theology, literature, and history. And, of course, sports!

I plan on expounding upon social science articles with my own expert opinion in the social sciences. I am well versed in economics and American government as well as American, European, and Middle Eastern history. I am the sworn enemy of bad grammar and spelling; I will destroy it all! I am well-versed and knowledgeable in all major world religions and even a couple minor ones that no one cares about! I am still new to Wikipedia and learning the ropes - any expert opinion from the veterans would be well appreciated. :D

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Turtledove's Timeline-191 series, just about all of the Forgotten Realms books especially the ones about Drizzt Do'Urden and anything done by R.A. Salvatore. Anything with regard to economic and political theory, especially Keynesian economics.
