Jecheon is a city in North Chungcheong province, South Korea. The city is a major railway junction, served by the Jungang, Chungbuk and Taebaek Lines. Jecheon has scenic surroundings and several tourist spots such as Uirimji Reservoir and Cheongpung Lake. It is also home to Semyung University.

Jecheon City is located in the northern part of Chungcheongbukdo. It borders Munkyeong City to the south, and Wonju City and Youngwol-gun to the north. It is wellknown for its beautiful environment from mountains to lakes among fantastic features.[1]
