[edit] Two actresses or one? Jean and Jeanne Crain
There is unquestionably another actress called Jean Craine (without the 'ne' at the end of her first name) who, as of 2007, is alive and living in northern England. I have reason to believe that this other actress was born in Preston, England, as the daughter of Eddie 'The Man With The Golden Trumpet' Calvert and that it was Jean and not Jeanne who was the star of A Letter to Three Wives. I am concerned that the biographies and filmographies of these two actresses may have been mistakenly merged or confused in this one article, as it is a natural assumption when looking through old film credits that Jean and Jeanne Crain were the same person; especially when they are similar-looking beautiful actresses of the same post-war era.
