[edit] French Ban

The French most certainly banned absinthe and it occured before the start of WWI. The French government even gave cash back if people turned in their bottles of now illegal liquor, the alcohol was then used to process gun-powder for the coming war. I am curious where the information that germany banned absinthe for the french was found? -- Ari 01:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dead?
