[edit] Bio

A fairly detailed biography of this fellow can be found here. It is a sourced article on a genealogy website. I don't care enough to verify or add any of it, but I think this site could be a great starting point for someone who does. CharacterZero | Speak 22:42, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Famous descendants

I've added a link to Inside Entertainment. Another external link shows the family trees that link Madonna and Camilla Parker Bowles. Although it's tabloid journalism, I included it just as proof that there has been modern-day mention of Jean Guyon in relation to Madonna, etc.

  • Found a more legitimate Ottawa Citizen article too. Canuckle 22:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Change to article title?

As there are more than one Jean Guyon out there, I recommend changing to "Jean Guyon du Boisson". Any discussion? Canuckle 22:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

  • I now see that the Canadian biography to-do list has both the father and the son listed, based on the Dictionary of Canadian Biography listing, as: Jean Guyon Du Buisson and Jean Guyon Du Buisson (d. 1663). Is that the best way to name their articles, or would (junior)/(senior) or (son/father) or (fils/pere) be better? Canuckle 07:53, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
