Even if he had French ancestry, it is nationality which goes in the introduction, so French-German would be inappropriate there in any case. But so far, French is totally unreferenced and unsupported in any meaning. Gene Nygaard (talk) 14:02, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- I expanded a bit and added some refs. All three refs say he was German, and Gaige indicates that he was born and died in Berlin. Thanks for catching this. Quale (talk) 15:28, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
