[edit] Actual name

Jean Bartik was born Betty Jean Jennings, not Elizabeth Jean Jennings. (The former is the name on her birth certificate; Scott McCartney called her the latter in his book on the ENIAC out of confusion and despite her protestations after reading a prepublication draft of the book.)
