Correct spelling of composer's city: Ghent' Correct spelling of composer's city: In English we spell his city: "Ghent". This page incorrectly uses "Gant". There is no city in Belgium called Gant. These persons had the place names at the end of their names to distinguish each other. They are related but they are not the same persons. Please heed the work that has gone into the two respective articles. These are different persons.
