[edit] Sorry about CSD
I hadn't noticed that this article has survived an AfD debate. Guess I will have to keep looking into the talk page everytime I nominate an article for deletion. -Ambuj Saxena (talk) 16:58, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- No problem it's an honest mistake. Always check edit histories if you can to avoid this type of thing. Cheers. -- JJay 17:01, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merge?
As a minor player in a major story, I think this guy could possibly be mentioned in the main article, and he doesn't need his own. The Afd seemed to draw considerable consensus for this idea (with several of the keep voters wanting a merge. It's now months later, so hopes that this would expand seem unlikely. Since the guy is dead, he's unlikely to do anything else newsworthy. Would anyone object to a merge/redirect? Friday (talk) 17:58, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- I've decided to ignore your accusations now, since my attempts at dispute resolution have been rebuffed. Is there a content-related reason for opposing the merge, or are you just opposing because of who suggested it? (Keep in mind, many people in the Afd have already suggested exactly what I'm suggesting, for the same reasons.) Friday (talk) 18:16, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
I wouldn't have to accuse you if you were not actively stalking me. Since you have a sudden interest in Mr. Irvoas, why don't you explain why this article should be removed prior to the upcoming trial. Or are you not aware of the trial? In fact, I tend to doubt that you have any knowledge of Irvoas, his importance in the French riots, or any real interest in the subject matter. What does interest you a great deal are the articles I edit. -- JJay 18:22, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm aware of what's written in the article, which isn't much. If this is all we have on him, a merge seems obviously correct to me. If there's more, by all means, improve it. And, please, stop with the accusations, or make them on my talk page if you must. This stuff doesn't help us work on articles, so it doesn't need to be on various article talk pages. I disagree one hundred percent with any merge. However, here's a new idea- Why don't you improve the article if you feel it's not sufficent. Wikipedia is more than merging, redirecting, and blanking pages. Why don't you try adding some content. Also, please stop the stalking. That type of behavior does not make me want to participate here. Is that clear? -- JJay 18:39, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
