"Workshop in the Tuileries" The workshops granted to artists and craftsmen were normally in the Galeries du Louvre. Is this an error? --Wetman 22:11, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the French wikipedia article says:
-
- Outre de nombreux ouvrages qui lui furent commandés pour Sa Majesté, il obtint un atelier dans la cour des princes aux Tuileries et un logement au Louvre.
- which I translated - in separate sentences, for considerations of style and flow - as:
-
- ...he was commissioned to produce numerous works for the King ... Oudry was granted a workshop in the Tuileries and an apartment in the Louvre.
- Have I been misled or misinformed? -- ALoan (Talk) 23:07, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
