Jeannine Claudia Oppewall is an Oscar Nominated Art Director. She was born in 1946 and is of American descent. She graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She began working in the film industry in the late 70s and was for a time married to writer/director Paul Schrader.
In 1997 she received her first Academy Award Nomination for her work on LA Confidential, she also received Academy Award Nominations for her work on Pleasantville, Seabiscuit and The Good Shepherd
As of 2000 she is a member of the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
