Jeannie Pepper (born July 9, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois), is an adult film actress. She began in the business in 1984 at age 26 and has appeared in over 200 adult films, mainly all black and interracially themed films. She has also appeared in lesbian, anal, and double penetration films, and in gay movies with a bi-sexual theme.[citation needed]
According to various sources including the Video Team website, Pepper still makes occasional sex film appearances, including such recent films as Horny Black Mommas (2006), Momma Knows Best 3 (2007), and Horny Black Mommas & Daughters (2007). Nevertheless, Jeannie has settled into semi-retirement after more than 20 years in the adult film business.
Pepper was married to photographer Hans Rudelstein, although the two are now divorced. She has appeared in several mainstream films — including High School High (1996) and The Malibu Beach Vampires (1991) — credited as Joan Rudelstein.
Pepper was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 1997, the first African American woman to be recognized with that honor.
