Jeanie Johnson

Jeanie Johnson is a Northern Irish television presenter and journalist. She is currently the Features Editor, and also reports, for UTV Live.

Jeanie has worked at Ulster Television as a journalist since 1978, and in that time has reported for Reports, Good Evening Ulster, Six Tonight and UTV Live. She has also presented news bulletins at the station. Jeanie introduce a season of programmes on UTV in 2000 on the subject of domestic violence, Just Like a Woman.

When the Tall Ship, the Jeanie Johnston, called at Belfast Docks, UTV sent Jeanie to report on the ship's visit. She signed off her report "Jeanie Johnson, UTV Live, on the Jeanie Johnston".

Jeanie is the patron of Heartbeat, a local children's charity. She has two children.
