Jean Martineau

Jean Martineau, CC, QC, LL.D (ca. 1895 - December 11, 1985) was a Canadian lawyer and President of the Canada Council for the Arts from 1964 to 1969.

He was educated at the Université de Montréal and called to the Quebec Bar in 1919.

From 1953 to 1954, he was Bâtonnier of the Bar of Montreal. From 1954 to 1959, he was a judge of the Quebec Court of Appeal.
