Jean Favard

Jean Favard (1902–1965) was a French mathematician. Not much is known about him personally. He published his works between 1925 and 1940, mostly in the French language. His works has a great influence on contemporary mathematics.
During World War II he was a prisoner of war in Germany.
He also was a President of the French Mathematical Society in 1946.
