Jean Charles, Prince de Ligne de La Trémoille

Jean Charles, Prince de Ligne de La Trémoille (16 June 1911–9 July 2005), was a Belgian nobleman and the son of Henri Florent Lamoral, prince de Ligne and his wife, Charlotte de La Trémoille. At the death of his uncle, Louis Jean Marie de La Trémoille, he appended his title "de la Trémoille" to his own name.

On 11 March 1942, he married Maria del Rosario de Lambertye-Gerbeviller. They had three children:

  • Hedwige Marie (b. 1943); who married Prince Charles de Merode.
  • Charles-Antoine (b. 1946), his successor.
  • Nathalie Marie (1948–1992); who married Prince Alain de Polignac.
