Jean-Yves Tadié

Jean-Yves Tadié (born 1936) is a French writer, specializing in Marcel Proust. His 800-page biography of Proust was well-received, asserted by Edmund White in his own book on Proust to be the best work of its kind. Tadié is a professor at the Sorbonne (Paris IV) and director of the collections "Classical Folio" and "Theatre Folio".
He was also a director of the French Institute of London.
