Jean-Talon Boulevard is one the the longest streets on the Island of Montreal. It runs from Highway 15 in the west to the borough of Anjou in the east.

Between Viau and Langelier Boulevards in the Montreal borough of St. Leonard, Quebec it passes through the heart of Città Italiana as is nicknamed Via Italia. It is home to many Italian-Canadian businesses and runs through the largest Italian-Canadian community in Montreal. Via Italia was "party central" when the Italian National Soccer Team won the 2006 FIFA World Cup. There are 260,345 people of Italian ancestry living within the Greater Montreal Area.[1]
