Jean-Paul Marna (born February 21, 1981 in Senegal) is a French football striker, currently playing for Conference North side Kettering Town.[1]
He previously played for French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, and Southern Football League Division One Midlands outfit Berkhamsted Town. Marna is also currently a French international Futsal striker.
He moved to Kettering in August 2006 after scoring 14 goals in 16 games for Berkhamsted the previous season. He is a crowd favourite, coming second to Andy Hall in the Poppynet poll for Kettering player of the season following the 2006/07 campaign.
JP had a promising start to the 2007/08 campaign, scoring four times in Kettering's first four games, twice in the 6-0 humbling of Vauxhall Motors, and twice against Worcester City, as the Northamptonshire side set the early pace in the league.
On 31 August 2007 it was announced that Marna had signed a contract extension with Kettering, in response to his form at the start of the season.
