[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:SpokaneIndiansLogo-Small.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:SpokaneIndiansLogo-Small.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 01:19, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spokane Shock
The reason for linking the dates isn't so that anyone can click on them, it's to allow readers' date preferences to work. See WP:DATE#Dates containing a month and a day in the Manual of Style for an explanation. I agree no-one's likely to click on them; the linking is just a side effect of the preference mechanism, not the purpose. Colonies Chris 09:39, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Brentwood Elementary School
Please remove the protected redirect, which you added, to Brentwood Elementary School. It has been protected for nearly 4 months now, and really, there is not point in redirecting it to the Mead School District. Actually, the page can just be deleted, and then recreated when someone has sufficient info to write an article.
Also I do believe this was an accident, but I had posted about this before (towards the end of June) about the same thing, requesting the removal of the protected redirect, but my message got deleted with your "old news" on 7/5/2007 without having been addressed, replied to, or having any action taken.
Thanks, Jdubman 06:39, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- Please see WP:REDIRECT#What do we use redirects for? If someone is looking for information about this school, they will be redirected to the district page. This is a legitimate use of a redirect and need not be deleted. Thank you, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 20:27, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fort Wayne Fusion Roster Update
Thanks for updating it into a more logical/readable format. I've been meaning to do that for a couple weeks, but the roster is so dynamic and I never set the time aside. Thanks, again! VexedTechie 21:32, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spokane's Sister Cities
No problem, I should have cited the source in the comment field. First I came across it when I saw that someone added Spokane in the Makhachkala article, then I did a quick Google search and found a few references, like this one, where it's wrongly assigned to Georgia. — N-true 17:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:SpokaneArenaLogo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:SpokaneArenaLogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:07, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
