[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ewagele.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ewagele.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:56, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Appeal deleted jpg
You can look up an image in the deletion log to see what happened to it. This one was not deleted for lacking copyright info as such, but rater because it was a non-free image lacking a proper use rationale (see warning above here). Additionaly I believe it fails item #1 of the Wikipedia:Non-free content policy, since it would be possible for someone to take a free licensed photo of her. --Sherool (talk) 08:54, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- Could you please point me to information on creating a free license photo? Sorry, so much information, so little time. JoyceD 23:10, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

- Someone (not nessesarily you) simply has to take a photo of her that they own the copyright to (one that is not a scan or copy of an existing photo), and then release that image under a suitable free license by uploading it with the apropriate license choince. You could for example give Wikipedia:Photo Matching Service a try. Alternatively you can try contacting someone you know already have photos of her and request that they release one under a free license (see linked page for details). --Sherool (talk) 10:13, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
