[edit] WikiProject Pathology
Hi Jdln, welcome to WikiProject Pathology! As you can see, we're fairly new and any help you can give us is greatly appreciated. Currently, I'm working to categorize the pages and stubs related to pathology. You can check out the categories we have right now starting from Cat:Pathology. Note that Cat:Histopathology, Cat:Gross pathology, and Cat:Clinical pathology are brand new. Also, a template and category to mark stub articles related to pathology is currently awaiting approval at WikiProject Stub Sorting / Proposals - your input and support would be greatly appreciated. Finally, I noticed that you are interested in hematopathology - that page could certainly use some attention if you have the time. Thanks and welcome to the project! -RustavoTalk/Contribs 21:53, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Looks like you're off to a good start. Thanks for starting a page on aggressive NK-cell leukemia - I've been meaning to get around to that for awhile, and it looks like you've got a good list of references there, which is much of the battle. Anyhow, you should consider looking in or joining Wikiproject: Clinical medicine, and if there's anything here that I can give you a hand with, just leave me a note at my talk page. [edit] Welcome + Tips About Refs
Hi,
It is great to welcome another an engineer/physician to the bunch. I see you've already signed-up at WP:Pathology. :)
I have a couple of tips on referencing (WP:REF):
- if you the write PMID 9192774 instead of PMID: 9192774, i.e. remove the ":", it becomes a link automagically.
- if you use Diberri's tool -- http://diberri.dyndns.org/wikipedia/templates/ refs from PubMed are a snap.
- a description of howto edit med articles can be found at the medical manual of style -- WP:MEDMOS.
- easiest way to figure something out... look at a good article (WP:GA), e.g. pathology and copy.
Hope to see more of your edits soon. Best of luck on getting that final certification in hemepath. Nephron T|C 20:28, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
