Ideas I'm too shy to publish

[edit] Basic Definition

I have written an example of where I think the page should go. At present there is a lack of a definition or basic idea of just "what" the sport is. I do not know if this is acceptable by current wikipedia standards, therefore I am reluctant to publish it. I believe that the current page should focus more on a definition

"Barefoot running is an activity where a person participates in the sport of running without any shoes or coverings on his feet. It is often necessary to have a certain resiliency with the feet through a callus so that the foot is able to withstand the pressures associated with high physical contact on a (often) rough surface. It is not recommended that one participates in barefoot running without some kind of conditioning beforehand."
