JC Mac

JC Mac is an actor and producer based in London, UK.

JC Mac was born in London, his acting talent first came to the attention of his school teachers. He was regularly the principal character in school plays and later amateur theatre productions. He has also worked as a fitness instructor, a builder, a model and a boxer.

Upon leaving school he undertook extensive acting training and has been working regularly ever since. Recently he has received great reviews for a movie he acted in as lead and also wrote and produced Winner Takes All. It was nominated for a BAFTA Award, and was included in the official selection for over 20 festivals worldwide .

Most recently JC played one of the leading roles, Tony/Wolf in the movie StagKnight (Stage Fright Films) which is due for distribution in late 2007. He also played a supporting role in the British romcom Are You Ready For Love?. At present he has just finished filming a role in the new movie Ten Dead Men (Modern Life).

JC has also been cast as the lead role in Lunchbox (Unity Films) which will also feature Chico Slimani, star of X Factor, an hilarious feelgood comedy which starts shooting early 2008. It is an original screenplay written by JC Mac, Chico Slimani and Helen M Grace. He has secured the lead role in Blood, Sweat And Too Many Tears (Machico Bros), a gritty boxing drama which is in the late stages of development and is also playing Klaus in Fixers (Modern Life).

In late 2006 JC played the lead in a short comedy entitled Left Holding Baby and in May 2007 he flew to Bavaria to film a role in the movie Requiem For Tomorrow.

JC Mac puts in an appearance at the start of the new Chico Slimani music video (Curvy Cola Bottle Body) as a journalist.
