I initiated http://fr.howto.wikia.com called "Wikicomment" (French pronunciation), because the only howto wiki having many advantages was http://howto.wikia.com :

  • GFDL, same as Wikipedia, so easy to move texts when not well placed
  • not-specialized except in how-tos
  • open to original, personal, multiple, solutions for a problem
  • aims to become a Wikimedia Foundation project, so to contain a huge database of solutions


The mains problem of http://howto.wikia.com and http://fr.howto.wikia.com is the relatively low number of how-tos. Do not hesitate to participate, there are already several exciting articles!
