[edit] Welcome

Hi Jaz,

Someone else noticed that you had become a new user before I read your message to me. User:Gblaz left you a lot good information.

Your note to me on my Talk page was in fact a great place to write it. A good thing to know is that [[Jazborocketman]] (like you left on my talk page) is an encyclopedia entry, and that is not the proper place to put any information about yourself. You will find "Jazborocketman" on the top menu of any Wikipedia page once you log in. That will take you to [[User:Jazborocketman]]. The "User" part of that indicates a Wikipedia:namespace, which is the appropriate page for information about yourself that you might like to share. You can use the macro ~~~~ to sign messages. Those four tildes are expanded when you save the page. Alternately, you can make a link right to your user page without the macro, directing to the User namespace.

You usually shouldn't modify someone else's User page. Most of the time, you'll want to modify the user's Talk page instead. That will get messages to that user and he will be notified with a "You have new messages" link on the next load of any page. (You may have noticed that when you logged in today.)

BTW, I noticed your article so quickly because I sometimes use the "Recent changes" in the main navigation window. I highly suspected your entry was some vandalism when I saw it in the recent changes list. Obviously, I turned out to be wrong. Happy editing! Mrendo 13:55, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
