Very true. A diambiguation page would help it very much. I'm putting a disambiguation notice in it. But, it has only pornstars. May be someone can put in names on non-porn people there as well.
About the picture I'm not too sure. I advise that you take a round through other pornstar entries, and find out more about propriety of pronstar profile pictures. Remember, WP is not censored.
I have replaced the pornstar infobox image with a DVD cover that better portrays the information on the article. But, I still intend to upload one of her portaits available. - Aditya Kabir 19:03, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup, more cleanup

It seems that, the top templates of "not enough citations" may be removed now and replaced with particular "citation needed" templates inserted at appropriate places.

Also, the journalistic tone of the biographical sections may be restructured to a more encyclopedic form. The article needs to be shortened, too. Given the level of notability, it seems a bit too long.

Parts of the article may be removed to other articles that may have a place for the "general Bangladesh porn scene" or "how the adult entertainment industry operates". (202.53.168.43 15:07, 11 August 2006 (UTC))

Furthermore, lines like "featuring ... and BiggZ's supposedly 15 inch long organ as the storyline" or "the film that carried an exotic flavor of a faraway land to the viewers" should either be edited out or replaced with suitable phrasing. (202.74.244.15 11:53, 14 August 2006 (UTC))

A Minor Help: Can someone give a hand to getting the Bengali spelling for Jazmin right? It lacks one vowel ("i"), which I couldn't figure out and couldn't type. I tried copying the vowel from other Bengali words, but that didn't work. (Aditya Kabir 15:55, 19 August 2006 (UTC))

Coming from the project page discussion on filmography, I think the filmography can be reduced to the following:

  1. First film: Orgy World (7) or Incumming (3) (the latter is her first cover feature) or Booty Talk (48) (her real first film that was released after the other two)
  2. Last film with Spiegler: BiggZ and the Beauties (11)
  3. First film without Spiegler: Wet Brunettes (3)
  4. First starring caste: Bangladesh Booty (which has some notability in itself)
  5. First film in the women's film genre: Playgirl Private Pleasures
  6. First film that pays a tribute to her: Worship This Bitch 3: the Jazmin Edition

The main article could be edited accordingly, cutting down on specific film names, like - "this was followed by three films in the barely legal category, which in turn was followed by three films that cast her as a fresh latin face, including one by New Sensations". Likewise another part may be rewritten as - "since leaving Spiegler she was cast for three moderate roles alongside bigger stars like Jezebelle Bond, and Indian Ethnic pornstars Nadia Nyce and Roxy Jezel, including one film by 3rd Degree". [edit] Bangladesh Booty

The first formally released film to feature acknowledging Bangladesh - Bangladesh Booty - is notable in many ways:

  1. It creates a niche for Bangladeshi-ethnic Porn in the arena of Indian-ethnic Porn
  2. It brings the existence of Bangladesh in the world of porn out of the criminally underground scenario prevelant in Bangladesh
  3. It also is the first western film in any genre, including the mainstream, that features Bangladesh as the central theme
  4. It is the first Bangladesh themed entertainment in any art-form (music, film, theater etc.) becoming popular enough to generate a sequel - Bangladesh Booty 2

But, unfortunately it was not considered notable enough in my attempt to create a separate article for it earlier. So, upon advise from other WP community people I incorporated it here. May be, instead of removing the infobox, you can consider creating a separate article for it. - Aditya Kabir 18:29, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

You may take a look at the AfD discussion on the separate entry, which is supplemented by my talk page and Yamla's. Unfortunately, User:Mwhorn, who proposed the deletion and User:Snugspout, who was the staunchest supporter for deletion, seems to have their talk pages cleaned white, and I can't access User:Bwithh. [edit] Pictures

I replaced Image:PakistaniPoon.jpg with a less offensive picture that is found on this page. I understand that this is about a porn star, but full nudity is not needed to show what she's been in, and for a young child harmlessly surfing this site, could be quite disturbing.

I understand your concern. But,please, consult Wikipedia:Content disclaimer to find out WP is not censored (the disclaimer page previously went by that very name). She is the daughter of first generation Bangladeshi-Americans who migrated from the port city of Chittagong.
