Jazzwise magazine, launched in 1997, is the UK’s biggest selling jazz monthly magazine and is available in most major territories worldwide. Jazzwise has a broad editorial view from the cutting edge of contemporary jazz, mainstream jazz, improv and jazz-rock to world jazz, and nu-jazz. It features news coverage, a nationwide events guide, jazz gossip, jazz-on-film, opinion columns, in-depth feature articles and an extensive review section covering new releases, reissues, DVDs, books and concert reviews. Daily jazz news reports are updated on the Jazzwise website.
Jazzwise is committed to encouraging and helping new jazz writers through its annual intern scheme and the Write Stuff workshops held every year during the London Jazz Festival.
Jazzwise is also a company specialising in mail order and jazz education workshops.
In 2007 Jazzwise won two awards, best jazz publication at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and best jazz publication at the Ronnie Scott's awards.
