Jazz in Silhouette is a 1958 jazz album by Sun Ra and His Arkestra. It features a set of original compositions that mark a transitional period for the group; Ra's earlier work had consisted largely in interpretations of jazz standards, while later recordings would see the group launching more into avant-garde experimentalism.[1]
Recorded in 1958 at El Saturn Studio, Chicago.
