Jazeh Tabatabai

Jazeh Tabatabai, (1931 - February 9, 2008) (Persian: ژازه طباطبايي) was an Iranian avant-garde painter, poet, and sculptor.[1][2]
Tabatabai received over 10 major international awards for his paintings and sculptures. His works can be found in major collections and in many museums around the globe including the Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.[3] Additionally, his works have been displayed in in exhibitions in England, India, Italy, Germany, Spain Greece, Australia, France and the United States.[4] He was the founder and director of the Iran Modern Art Gallery in Tehran, Iran.[5]
