[edit] Welcoming
I welcome a lot of users, usually 50 (a page worth) in about 5 minutes. I use a handy little welcome template that can be found on my user page. I'm glad you've been editing for a while and finally decided to get a user account. Just don't forget to sign your posts to talk pages with ~~~~. You can edit what your signature looks like in your preferences, so you could have it say "Jameson" as you put on my talk page. Happy editing! Jfingers88 21:27, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Newmarket 404 interchanges
Good day.
I see that you consider there are four 404 interchanges in Newmarket. I count only three (including Green Lane, which, though in East Gwillimbury, does "serve" Newmarket): Mulock Drive, Davis Drive, and Green Lane. What is the fourth interchange?

[edit] French program at NHS?
What exactly do you mean by that? Every school has one. I have a feeling you mean an extended or immersion programme. Please say which it is. Kelisi 00:56, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Hello. Firstly, I would like to apologize for my rude message to you. It's been a rough couple of days for myself and I have been a little too emotional and quick to anger. It doesn't reflect positively on myself and was unfair to you when you were making perfectly legitimate questions and edits. I apologize for my message to you. It wasn't done in a rational state of mind.
Secondly, it has been announced (I have actually had the priviledge of talking with a teacher at NHS who informed me of the move) that NHS will be the region's main immersion school. All Canadian students are obviously expected to have an education in French (at least up to Grade 9). However, this is what I believe to be the Immersion Program. It will only be for a select few students as the great majority will obviously continue to learn in English, but they are moving it from Aurora High.
Hopefully that helps!

[edit] OTCS AfD
I've reverted the removal of the AfD tag on Over the Counter-Strike. It's considered unacceptable to remove the tag while the discussion is still ongoing. I also reverted your deletion of a legitimate vote/comment from the AfD disccussion (if you feel necessary, you can bring up the civility issue with another admin). Thanks. — TKD::Talk 04:04, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Please stop removing comments from Articles for deletion discussions; it is considered vandalism. You may comment on the discussion if you have problems with it, but don't remove material that's already there. — TKD::Talk 01:47, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Well, the correct procedure, I would think, would be to get an admin to look at the insults, not delete them yourself. — TKD::Talk 01:55, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Removing the contributions of others from AfD discussions is highly inappropriate and is liable to get you blocked for vandalism if you continue. I regret that you didn't interpret my remarks in the same playful tone that I intended them, but that by no means gives you the prerogative to remove other people's contributions to a discussion. — Phil Welch (t) (c) 05:41, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey guys, let's let a guy who lets his bias get in the way of decisions have an adminship and then he can ban a user who contributes to Wikipedia! It is sure to be effective! --Tykell 18:43, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Exactly. The treatment I have received from Phil Welch, an individual who is on an obvious power trip and abusing his administrative resources for personal gain, is nothing short of outlandish and embarassing to Wikipedia. I have consistently been a strong contributor to numerous articles and it is somewhat demoralizing to have been blocked from editing a page of which I was one of the primary creators of. This behaviour on Phil Welch's part strikes me as being ridiculously hypocritical.

[edit] Apology
I'm sorry for assuming you had brought two users over just for the debate. I was wrong, and I hope we can work together amicably in the future. Ardenn 23:25, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Queen's University
- Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. -- pm_shef 01:49, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

- Also it is not appreciative to refer to an unregistered user to be a "newbie". If you think believe I am just because the lack of contributions, you are sadly mistaken. 218.102.81.23 04:12, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- If you are interested, there is an ongoing discussion at Talk:Queen's University regarding the content dispute. - pm_shef 21:21, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kim Richard Nossal Drinking Game
I do not dispute its existence. However, it is simply not notable for inclusion in an encyclopedia. It clearly violates Wikipedia is not for things made up in school one day -- meaning, Wikipedia is simply not the place to be publicizing it. Andy Saunders 21:01, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay. I still fail to see anything published anywhere about the Kim Richard Nossal drinking game. The only Google hits that I see for 'Nossal "drinking game"' are Wikipedia mirrors and a couple of random LiveJournals. I really think that the game needs a few third-party sources discussing it before it should be included on Wikipedia, as per WP:NFT above. Andy Saunders 21:29, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hockey player pages
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a fan site. "Scouting reports" and other non-verifiable material are not appropriate for Wikipedia articles. You have added such material to Nik Antropov and Alexei Ponikarovsky. Also, statistics are not to be added until the conclusion of the season. --Muéro(talk/c) 07:39, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edit to Kerry Fraser
It appears that you have copied and pasted several paragraphs from http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Hockey/NHL/Toronto/2007/02/23/3658370-sun.html and http://www.thestar.com/Sports/article/185004. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Feel free to re-submit a new version of your addition to the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 04:11, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
