— Hi, I'm JayHenry, also known as JayHank. I'm here to help write an encyclopedia. I registered at Wikipedia awhile ago, and have gradually been getting more involved. I like it here. I hope to stay.

I really believe in what Wikipedia is trying to accomplish. It's still a work in progress, to be sure, but in 20 years this could really be something amazing.
So in real life I'm a recent college graduate. I've lived in Moscow, Kiev, London and somewhere in Romania as well as some other places in other parts of the English-speaking world. I like to read. I like hippos. For more about me, you can check out my userboxes or some articles I've worked on.
I created this account after some time as an anonymous contributor because I wanted to be a better Wikipedian and I wanted to participate in discussions. But when discussions get a little heated, I find that it often helps to return to the reason I came here — writing an encyclopedia — to help decompress. There's stress in the real world, no reason to let it creep into Wikipedia. After all, writing the world's greatest encyclopedia should be fun.
