Jayney Klimek

Jayney Klimek (born August 18, 1970 in Melbourne), is an Australian singer and songwriter.

Jayney comes from a family steeped in music. BrotherAlf Klimek was a founding member of The Other Ones/ Spliff Radio Show. Her twin Johnny Klimek is a successful Hollywood composer. Cousins Nic Cester and Chris Cester form part of Jet[1].

Jayney achieved chart success with The Other Ones[2]. "Holiday" spent 20 weeks in the European Top Ten.

Collaborations include work with Tony Banks, Tangerine Dream, Paul van Dyk, Alphaville. Jayney co-wrote and performed lead vocals on Digital Tenderness Terranova[3].

Her new band is You Pretty Thing with Andreas Schwarz-Ruszczynski[4]. Their Single "Push It" has become the longest running No.1 played track on RadioEins.
