He was born and brought up in Bellamkondavaripalem, a remote village in Macherla mandal of Guntur District. He struggled hard in his initial years of life, joined school late at the age of twelve. He was third child among eight for Sri Vattikonda Narasayya & Rama Lakshmamma. He had to walk for 10-12 miles everyday to reach school in Nagarjuna Sagar. The famous dam was being constructed in the same period there.

Having faced so many hardships in life he wanted the Palnadu region to be developed. During his youth days he organised many social service activities & welfare schemes for the poor in the region. Later he started thinking big for this great cause and apart from being in Government service for 14 years, he was not satisfied with his part time service activities. So he resigned from Government Job and involved in active politics with a service cause. Though he lost narrowly in the Assembly elections under Telugu Desam Party for Macherla constituency, he struggled for the development of the region.

He started an Non-governmental organization, Palnadu Rural Development & Welfare Society, and started working towards his cherished ambition of making Palnadu a developed area in all sectors.
