[edit] Career

Ross debuted on November 7, 1994 and received bookings in Mexico (and purportedly Japan, though little to no record of a Japanese tour exists) before returning to America and signing with World Championship Wrestling.

[edit] World Championship Wrestling (1999)

Ross, as Blitzkrieg, made his debut for World Championship Wrestling against Rey Mysterio, Jr. on the company's flagship television show WCW Monday Nitro on February 8, 1999. Over the next few months he wrestled the likes of Juventud Guerrera, Billy Kidman and Silver King on WCW Thunder. Blitzkrieg would face Guerrera for a second time at WCW Spring Stampede which also saw him debut a different attire from the one he had used since his debut. Blitzkrieg later gained his first and only opportunity at a WCW title during an edition of Nitro later in the year when he took part in a match for Mysterio's WCW Cruiserweight Championship. However, Psicosis defeated Blitzkrieg, Mysterio and Juventud Guerrera for the Cruiserweight Championship. He would be involved in WCW for a short while longer, engaging in more battles with Mysterio and even faced off against Eddie Guerrero on an edition of WCW Saturday Night. Blitzkrieg left WCW in late 1999 to work his main job at a computer company where he made more money but still worked on the independent wrestling circuit, primarily in Southern California, for a short time.

[edit] Retirement

On December 12, 2004, Ross handed over his gimmick and mask over to Jack Evans, thus making Evans Blitzkrieg II for a short time. Jay Ross now works as a computer technician.
